The metro obtained an historical record by transporting 2.650.034 people during Fallas in Valencia, a 7.31% increase over 2005.

The daily average was of approx. 400,000 travellers, more than double during a normal day.

The stations most used were those in the center. In fact, in Xàtiva 297,483 people were registered, whereas in Colon it was 237.233.

Slightly less used was the Plaza de España Station,(another one of the main stations), with 160,432 people.
