NEW CV-50 for Valencia to join Lliria and Alzira

The CV-50, Llíria-Alzira dual-carriageway, is one of the most important projects of the “Conselleria de Infraestructuras and Transporte”. Next to the CV-35 (Lliria-Losa del Obispo), it comprises a package of new routes that will be financed by the “Shadow Toll system”, that is to say, without cost for the users since the Generalitat pays the construction company an annual amount for the vehicles that use the route.

Yesterday it was announced to the public that the first section, that connects Benaguasil and the A-3, and that allows a conclusion date of 2008. The section is 22 kilometers long and will cost 200 million euros, 92 for expenses of conservation and maintenance, since the construction company, besides constructing the dual-carriageway, will have to maintain it in perfect conditions during its lifetime.
